  • Community Projects

    • Bank – Currency- 1 plate = 10 Large coins, = 40 medium coins, = 60 small coins. Would players like to be able to exchange rusty gears for Vins?

    • Roads- Jomeaga is project leader- Has a blueprint for roads and design style to follow.

    • Community project: Roads! 03/03/24. Built roads to connect: community area, spawn, Smallville, Plum Creek, and more.  Project Leader: Jomeaga. Thank you to all who participated, donated materials, and worked together. 

Small build contest- Statues. Will go for 1 week starting 03/10/24 and ending 03/16/24 March 10th-16th 2024

Rules for Statue Building Contest

  • Minimum size 1x1x1 and Maximum size 3x3x5.

  • Supply your own material and tools.

  • Bring statues to the Community area by no later than 03/16/24 11:59pm CST.

  • Will vote for top 3 Winners starting 03/17/24-03/23/24.

  • Announce winners 03/24/24, during Town hall.

  • All entries will be posted to social media. Will leave off any names.

 

  • News of the week

    • Herbarium- have spoken to mod author and a fix is in the works

    • First Town reports: meeting with town founders and members, to hear how the towns are coming along, what improvements for the server, event ideas, about land claims. 

    • Raising the player cap from 35 to 45, we had a peak of 37 on Friday.

    • Dedicated server: have found one, are currently working on setting it up.

    • Server map: Another large server had implemented the mod, they shut down the server for an hour, and ended up with 12,000 png in a folder and not as an image. We are in communication with them as they are figuring out how to get it to work.

    • Website has been in the works and now is live (still a work in progress). Any suggestions on how to make it better are appreciated. 

    • All Town halls will be posted on the website.

  • Polls-

    • Streaming on Vinterra: Please discuss the topic as it allows all to see the different opinions and help to make the decision. Will be up for a week.

    • Cave Ins: Does the server want cave ins to remain in or take them out?

    • Mods:

    • We have 3 options for voting: Yes, No, Abstain. We understand that Abstain means: do not mind if the topic is allowed or not.  


  • Mod changes- 

    • Recipe for paper lanterns.


  • New mods-

    • Will have a forum post with mods that were voted no in previous vote. 

    • List of mods that staff do not feel would benefit the vibe of the server

    • Place for new mods to be suggested, please list why you think the mod would be beneficial to the server. 

    • Poll of suggested mods. Need 60% to be approved, voting will be up for a week and then have to be tested before going on to the server. Must be 1.19. 

    • Introduction of new mods could take up to 3-4 weeks from suggestion to implementation.

    • Will be looking at and making polls.

  • Q&A session

  • Social Media: Reddit and Vintage Story Forums, are the top places where new players find Vinterra. Thank you for those who upvote and comment on posts, we love reading them and knowing how much the community is enjoying the server.
